I discovered that there is no ‘quick fix’, and no ‘sudden jolt’ that suddenly turns everything around for us as individuals and predominantly because of that little thing called FREE WILL. We all like to do things our way and very much in our own time. And none of us ever take kindly to being told what to do especially when it comes to believing in something far greater than any of us, as human beings.
But at some point in our lives we all get desperate as people and yearn to get on a path that hopefully leads to peace in our lives. We know it feels good especially after we’ve experienced some ‘small miracle’ in our life that gives us hope. Sadly, that’s when we tend to bail out, knowing instinctively, that full-on commitment to anything purportedly good for our wellbeing, is not what we are emotionally up for. I’ve been on that merry-go-round many times.
What I had to learn and only after I’d written my first book ‘When Time Means Nothing’ (www.judinash.com) is that just putting my story out there, was never going to be enough. Not nearly enough! I finally learned to appreciate some 16 months after I had published my book, that it takes real courage, integrity and wisdom to hold onto and to learn how to Embrace the Power of Gratitude in our daily lives especially, when yearning to transform our perspective, to fuel our hope, and to deepen our faith and our belief.
